Child Protection

We fight against child abuse, child labor, sexual exploitation, neglect and school dropout, to identify the above mentioned problems that we are fighting against we uses to assess those children personal and ask them how are they living at their homes and what are the challenges they are facing at home, schools, church, mosques and in the community.

Health

When the child become sick we uses to collaborate with the parents to take the child to the hospital also we do first aid to the child before taking him or her to the hospital also we uses to visit the patient and support them with small aid like buying sugar and providing cooked food.

Moreover we also pray for the sick whether in the hospital or at their home

Behaviors

We are teaching them good behavior and how to interact with others in the community.

Home Visit

We conduct home visits to minister to parents and follow up on the children.

Identification of Talent

a. Journalism.

Every Saturday at the end of the month we have a session through Radio SIFA FM ATOO of children to educate other children.

b. Sports evangelism.

● Football team: The children have their football team and normally plays friendly matches with other teams for evangelism, for cohesion and sensitization on various issues.

● Magnet theatre: The team has magnet theatre group used to pass messages to other children and community within the camp.

● Cultural dance competitions are normally held to enhance unity.

4. Helping them with their basic needs

a. Meals

Lead the Child prepared sumptuous meals for children regularly and supports vulnerable families with food items when available.

b. Stationeries -

We support learners with scholastic materials at the beginning of the year. This includes, exercise books, bags and uniform.

Compentence Based Curriculum

We teach children competence based curriculum to nurture and engage learners' potential and nurture them with adequate skills and knowledge.

We teach some Mathematics, English and Kiswahili remedial classes to help learners catch up with school work.

Peace Building

Our vision is for children is to experience peace. We endeavor to reach out to parents, the community, the church, and educational institutions to promote peace within the refugee community. We organize games aimed at teaching people about peace, including football, drama, music, and other activities designed to foster peace among the nations in Kakuma Refugee Camp. We aspire for refugees to communicate in one language of peace and love. Through the Word of God, we reach out to all people and strive to build peace for all. Psalm 133:1
